How do I get to the venue?
McMenamin’s Edgefield is located just off I-84 in Troutdale, OR, about 20 minutes from downtown Portland (address: 2126 SW Halsey St., Troutdale, OR). The ceremony and reception will be at Blackberry Hall and Meadows. If you are looking at the Main Lodge from the front parking lot, walk towards the water tower.  Once you get to the water tower, Blackberry hall will be visible just to your right.

What time should I arrive?
The wedding ceremony is at 5 PM. McMenamin’s Edgefield is hosting a concert that evening at 6PM. It’s probably a good idea to show up a little early to beat the concert traffic. There are plenty of places on the Edgefield property to grab a drink or a bite to eat to pass the time no matter how early you arrive. Edgefield also has a golf course, movie theater, glass blowing studio and more.

Where should I park?
McMenamin’s Edgefield has reserved parking for weddings; when you arrive, tell the attendant you are there for a wedding, and they will direct you. Given how busy we expect Edgefield to be that day, though, carpooling and arriving early, where possible, are recommended.


Will I have to pay for parking?
No.

Is there a dress code?
No. The wedding and reception will both be outdoors, and we want to emphasize fun over formality. Keep in mind the following: the Pacific Northwest typically sees very little rain or humidity in the summer. Daytime highs in late summer are often in the upper 70s, and lows are in the mid-to-upper 50s.

Are kids welcome?
Yes, but please let us know how many children you will be bringing, and their ages (so we can arrange for catering and seating). 

Can I bring a date?
Yes.

When is the RSVP Deadline?
The RSVP deadline is June 1st 2015.

What if I have a dietary restriction?
Please provide information about any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we will try to accommodate. Requests for vegetarian meals should not be a problem.

Are outside food and drinks allowed?
If you are staying at McMenamin’s Edgefield, you can enjoy outside food and drink in your room. However, you cannot take outside food and drink outside of your room.

Can I drink outside my room?
You can if you purchase the drink from one of the restaurants and bars on the McMenamin’s Edgefield campus. Outside drinks cannot be consumed outside your room. This is because of Edgefield’s liquor license; the state of Oregon considers the entire Edgefield campus outside of the rooms for lodging to be a bar. Therefore, outside drinks are not allowed outside of your room.
